Your gift to Cedille Chicago, the operating organization of Cedille Records, allows us to record albums featuring Chicago’s finest classical musicians — and use the recordings to promote the musicians’ careers and legacies.

One goal, many ways to show your support
Monthly Gifts
Show your sustaining support by making a monthly gift to Cedille Records. To sign up, check the box on the online donation form and we will charge you each month for the donation amount you specify. Your gift amount can be changed or canceled at any time. At the end of the calendar year, we will send you a letter acknowledging your total giving for the year.
Tribute/Memorial Gifts
Donate in honor of friends and family members on special occasions or as a memorial.
We will notify the person you designate that you’ve made a tribute gift. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed unless requested.
On the online donation form, simply indicate that your donation is a tribute or memorial gift and provide the name and address of the person we should notify.
Sponsor A Recording
Cedille covers all costs of recording, producing, releasing, and promoting albums (including paying the musicians). Sponsoring a recording is an impactful way to encourage the artistry of musicians whose work you especially appreciate. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and are acknowledged in the album booklet. Donations of $10,000 or more are listed on the back cover of the album. Sponsors often have the chance to observe a recording sessions and receive updates during the post-production work.

Soirée Cedille and other events
Soirée Cedille is Cedille’s annual benefit, held in September, to raise funds to help Cedille record, produce and promote the work of Chicago’s finest classical musicians.
Cedille Records also periodically hosts events, recitals or concerts to celebrate artists and their releases.
Estate Gifts
The Martin D. Ginsburg Society honors those who pledge to support Chicago’s classical music beyond their lifetimes by including Cedille Chicago, NFP, in their wills, trusts or other estate planning documents. Gifts could include:
- Cash or appreciated securities
- Bequests
- Charitable remainder or lead trusts
- Distributions from retirement assets
- Gifts using beneficiary designations
